Cut Loose, Get Loud: Why Dr. Lex Rx is Bringing Sex Trivia to BUILD

Wine, myth-busting trivia, and a doctor with zero filter. Every ticket supports Hope Renovations.

No lectures, no rushing out the door—just radical health facts, killer mixtapes, and the unfiltered truth about our bodies.

Uncorked. Unapologetic. has always been about more than wine and a good room. It’s a place for women to find their voice, use it, and be heard.

Every event this year gave women a platform. Some walked the runway at STRUT. Some shared their stories at STORY. Some showed their work at VISION. And at BUILD, you'll ask the questions you've been holding onto. That's what we're building together: a community where women speak up, cheer each other on, and leave a little braver than they came.

As we close out our incredible first year, we are throwing it way back. For our November 2 finale at Tandem, BUILD is getting an '80s theme. Big hair, neon, shoulder pads, leg warmers, and your best mixtape energy. Go all in. Because somewhere underneath the titles of mom, spouse, employee, and caregiver, there’s that teenager who knew every word on the radio and didn't ask anyone's permission. On this night, come as you are!

🩺 Meet Our Emcee & Sponsor Spotlight: Dr. Lex Rx (Dr. Alexis Hugelmeyer)

To help us cut loose and get real, we couldn't think of a better powerhouse to lead the charge than Dr. Alexis Hugelmeyer.

Dr. Lex is a doctor of internal medicine treating strokes, heart attacks, and diabetic emergencies. Over and over, she sees what happens when women don't get the right information early enough, in plain language, from someone who isn't rushing them out the door.

At BUILD, she’s bringing all of that passion to trivia night as our featured sponsor partner, Dr. Lex Rx, It won’t be a stuffy lecture or a boring PowerPoint. It’ll be spicy women's health trivia on hormones, libido, perimenopause, and everything your doctor didn't have time to cover—questions that make you say, Wait, what?

Every Ticket Builds Something

While we're rocking out to DJ Boss Lady's '80s playlist, every ticket sold supports the BAD-ASS women of Hope Renovations, a nonprofit serving Orange, Durham, and Wake counties. Their crews fix and make homes easier to use so older adults can age in place with dignity. Their pre-apprenticeship program trains women for jobs in the construction trades.
